FAQ for Solano Avenue Businesses:
What does it mean to participate or to be on the program?
The Solano Avenue Association does not track what individual businesses do for the event, for a host of reasons. When you’re on the map you can expect people to stop by and how you engage with them afterwards is up to you. If you would like suggestions, let us know 🙂
Can I set up outside? Can I have a friend set up outside of my business?
Yes. Leave a minimum 48 inch path for ADA accessibility on sidewalks (CA DOT), please. Keep all wheelchair ramps clear. If you plan to have outside vendors, please provide them with the information available at the link below. (Or with the information found on this page.)
Do I have to stay open the whole time?
While we recommend staying open for the duration of the event, the program indicates “(!) Hours of participation may vary”. Your participation hours can be whatever you choose.
